Looking for a fun experience that's equal parts creative and delicious? The Perfect Swirl is a hands-on cupcake decorating class where you'll learn professional buttercream piping techniques while enjoying a relaxed, social atmosphere. Over 1 hour and 20 minutes, we'll show you how to create beautiful buttercream swirls using our signature Swiss meringue buttercream. You'll practise different piping techniques before decorating your own box of 12 cupcakes to take home and enjoy (if they make it that far!). Whether you're celebrating a birthday, planning a hens party, organising a team event, or simply catching up with friends, this class is designed to be fun, beginner-friendly, and full of sweet moments. During your class you'll: - Learn the basics of buttercream piping and decorating. - Master a selection of piping tips and techniques. - Decorate your own 12 cupcakes to take home. - Pick up simple decorating tricks you can recreate at home. - Enjoy a relaxed, laugh-filled class with plenty of photo-worthy moments - All decorating equipment, buttercream, cupcakes, and aprons are included—just bring yourself, your favourite drinks, and a little creativity. We'll take care of the rest! Bring your favourite drinks along—we're BYO, and we'll have the glassware ready for you. You're also welcome to bring snacks or order food from Lygon Street, Carlton or one of the many nearby cafés and restaurants while you decorate. Celebrating something special? The Perfect Swirl is available for private bookings, making it the perfect activity for birthdays, hens parties, bridal showers, baby showers, corporate team events, or a girls' day out. We can tailor the class to suit your group, with space for up to 24 guests. Our studio is just off Lygon Street, surrounded by some of Melbourne's best cafés and eateries. Parking is available on nearby Elgin Street (2 hours) and Palmerston Street (4 hours), with easy access to the studio via David Street.
