Don't be scared when you see the word fondant. We teach you how to manage the must dread medium with confidence! In no time you will master this coverage technique expanding your cake decorating skills. Its here that you will learn how to achieve a fondant coverage with little tips and tricks on how to get it perfected! You will be guided by head baker Lina on how to achieve a perfect finish that you apply to all future cakes. You are more than welcome to email a particular design that you would like to learn to info@sweetlystyled.com.au or we can play around on the day. This sweet indulgent class will consist of: - A ganach cake to work on, supplies, and equipment you'll use during the class. - A guide of the staples that you need in your cake tool collection to achieve a picture perfect cake - How to smooth and trouble shoot fondant cakes - How to apply a dash of sass with added embellishments i.e how to add fresh flowers to your cake in a safe and hygienic way. You get to go home with a decorated cake, recipes and and bonus information packs to help you when you want to re create this style at home. Please allow extra time for boxing your beautiful creation! If this day does not work for you - please get in contact and we will try our best to accomodate. Parking You can park for 2 hours on Elgin Street or 4 hours on Palmerston Street, which runs parallel and directly behind Elgin. There’s a handy little laneway called David Street on Palmerston that leads straight to the shop. Be sure to have enough space in your car boot to take your creation home! What to bring Feel free to bring along your favorite snacks and drinks to enjoy during class! We've got all the aprons and tools you’ll need covered.
